Season highlight: Le Mans feeling in Aragon

Glowing brake discs, flames on the exhaust and brightly lit headlights – fans love the feeling of racing in the dark. Many find endurance racing particularly appealing.

The Prototype Winter Series will therefore hold a race in the dark at the third race weekend in Motorland Aragon. The Saturday race is currently scheduled to start at 7pm on 2 March. The Prototype Winter Series thus follows the European Le Mans Series, which also contested a night race on the Aragon circuit in the summer of 2023, which was very popular with fans and participants.

The field of participants will also grow at the season highlight of the Prototype Winter Series. Former Group C team Gebhardt Motorsport will be competing with a Duqueine for the first time in the 2024 season. ANS Motorsport will also field a third car for the first time with a Ligier JSP4 from Class 4. The GEDLICH Racing organisation is talking to other teams about a start in Aragon and a week later at the season finale on the Formula 1 circuit in Barcelona.
