R-ACE GP makes its debut in Barcelona

Debut atmosphere at the season finale of the Prototype Winter Series at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. R-ACE GP will make its debut in the GEDLICH Racing series. The French racing team, which has made a name for itself with many titles in junior racing, will also be taking part in an LMP3 race for the first time.

From the current Formula 1 grid, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri all went through the training programme of the team from Fontenay-le-Comte. The French team only celebrated its last title win in February, when the team won the Formula Regional Middle East Championship with Finn Tuukka Taponen.

In Barcelona, the racing team will field a Duqueine D08. Former GT4 European Series champion Fabien Michal and youngster Hadrien David will drive the car. David will complete his first race weekend in an LMP3 Bolien at the gates of the Spanish metropolis before competing in the Michelin Le Mans Cup later in the year.
